That’s what everyone wants to know, right? What’s she gonna look like when she dies? Everybody wants to see the decay of the superstar… They wanna see me fail, they wanna see me fall on stage, they wanna see me vomiting out of a nightclub. I mean, isn’t that the age that we live in? That we wanna see — people who have it all lose it all?

Why should she have moved the cardboard? Both of you paid for one seat and you were sitting in part of hers.  You aren’t entitled to part of what she paid for.

If you want your body hanging all over HER seat then pay for HER seat. Should her ticket be LESS because she’s taking up less? No she pays for HER seat which is HER room.I’d lose my shit if I was that girl and someones sweaty body was all over me.

Sorry, but I disagree. How is it fair that if you’re bigger, you can’t even go to a baseball game?
That girl shouldn’t have put a piece of cardboard in between them. It must have been humiliating and saddening, and it doesn’t make sense that something as popular as a baseball game can not even be accessible for people who weigh more? Even if they don’t want to do it to be more accepting, the people who own the stadiums would get more profit because more people would actually be able to fit in the seats. Sorry for ranting, just giving my opinion.

How is it fair that the “thin” girl has to have the big woman’s body spilling into her seat causing no room for her and another persons sweat to drip all over her? It’s not her fault that the woman is over weight, nor that the baseball stadium doesn’t have big enough seats, the woman should have taken that up with the owners, this is in NO way the ‘thin’ girls fault, I’d have lost my  shit if someone was taking up my seat and sweating on me and be asked me moved to either a better or equal good spot where I don’t have to share a chair I paid for.

*fat privilege* you get to sit on people! Thin privilege is when you can comfortably fit into a normal size chair without sitting on others or making people feel uncomfortable because of your own decisions?
Edit: didn’t see this comment: “the people who own the stadiums would get more profit because more people would actually be able to fit in the seats” … Are you kidding me? You’d be losing money lol 2 people buy tickets for two seats or one person buys a ticket for two seats that are morphed into one but are the same price….. 2>1 Even if they did make a few of these seats, I’m sure thin people would purchase them because they are a better value for a luxury spacious seat for the same price as half the size lol You could lose weight and work on yourself or you can let yourself go and eat all the junk you want and get the benefits that come with it!! What a glorious future!!!!!

I’m sorry but what??? “Unrealistic maximum weight” are you kidding me? Those seats are spacious. I have enough room when I sit in them to be comfortable, and I still have room to leave a spare sweater and my bag at the side… and I’m not a tiny person at all. You’re not supposed to have a damn throne at a baseball stadium, what the hell do you expect?
Plus, whenever I go to a baseball game I always end up next to people (because duh, I don’t expect to have a section all to myself) and most of the time they’re men who are bigger. They’re usually not sitting all over me because those seats are big enough for bigger people… and if they are I’m indeed uncomfortable and usually the people pick up on it since I try to move so that I’m more comfy, and guess what they do if they notice? THEY APOLOGIZE and try to adjust themselves so that we can both enjoy the game (most of the time they end up standing most of the game anyway to cheer on their team). My uncle is pretty big (I don’t know his weight exactly because I’ve never asked, but it’s somewhere in the high 200s I think) and he goes to every single Mets game and sometimes I go with him, and not once has he ever wound up sitting all over my seat.
BUT I don’t blame her for being uncomfortable if you were indeed sitting all up in her space. She has a right to be comfortable too, and she has a right not to want some stranger cuddled up against her. Because that is gross. Even if you were skinny it’d be gross. Nobody wants a stranger sweating on them, it’s nasty. And what was the security guard supposed to do? DEMAND that she moved her cardboard or threaten to throw her out of the stadium? Don’t be ridiculous. That cardboard, by the way, was probably from something she ordered from a vendor (hot dogs and whatnot from the vendors often come in fold out boxes and I often unfold the cardboard if I buy a hot dog and finish it so I can put in next to me instead of throwing my trash on the floor like a pig) or something because I seriously doubt they have people walking around handing out random pieces of cardboard to fans in the stadium.
I’m sorry if this comes off as bitchy, but I’m so sick and tired of hearing “THIN PRIVILEGE IS GETTING TO SIT ON AN AIRPLANE OR AT A MOVIE THEATER OR AT A SPORTS STADIUM ETC.” because now you’re just nitpicking. Post a damn picture of these “tiny, unrealistic seats” and maybe then I’ll take it seriously.
